Shakespeare Insults Card – Frothy Hell-hated Flapdragon!
Here at Mrs Cusscups we have put together a collection of Shakespeare-inspired insults and put downs. Shakespeare certainly had a way with words! Bold, sharp, funny, quirky…we have re-imagined them using bright colour and eye-catching typography.
‘Frothy Hell-hated Flapdragon’ – (Flapdragon) 16th century parlour game popular at Christmas. Snatch raisins from a bowl of flaming brandy and eating them whole still alight – test of bravery. Played in the dark. (Love’s Labour’ Lost) – Frothy – shallow, superficial person – Hell-hated – truly wicked.
Cards are 14.8cm square and supplied with a brown kraft envelope. They are printed on 400gsm silk card.
