Shakespeare Insults Card – Common Kissing Applejohn!
Here at Mrs Cusscups we have put together a collection of Shakespeare-inspired insults and put downs. Shakespeare certainly had a way with words! Bold, sharp, funny, quirky…we have re-imagined them using bright colour and eye-catching typography.
‘Common-kissing’ – touching or kissing everyone. ‘Applejohn’ – In Henry IV, Part 2 (Act 2, Scene 4), the character Falstaff despises apple-johns because they remind him of old, withered men, which he jokingly compares to himself
Cards are 14.8cm square and supplied with a brown kraft envelope. They are printed on 400gsm silk card.
